THE STANDARD
Our evidence standard
The bar every ingredient has to clear, and the claims we refuse to print.
Roburra is built on four daily pillars — creatine, magnesium, protein, vitamin D — plus a short shelf of things that survive the same standard. This page is that standard, written down so you can hold us to it too.
How we read a study
We start from human trials, not cell cultures and not rodents. A finding counts for us when it has been repeated by more than one group, in people who resemble our customers, at a dose a person can actually take. A single small trial is a hint, not a reason to launch a product. When the research is only mechanistic — plausible biology with no outcome data in people — we say so rather than dressing the mechanism up as a result.
We also read the dose. A great deal of supplement marketing rests on ingredients that worked at three grams and appear in the tub at thirty milligrams. If we cannot put the studied dose in the product, we do not put the ingredient in the product.
Why the range is short
Creatine monohydrate, magnesium glycinate, whey protein and vitamin D3 are the compounds with the most human evidence behind them for strength, sleep, muscle maintenance and bone in women over 40. Those four are the daily pillars, and they are the reason the brand exists. Anything else that reaches the shelf — a travel format, a targeted support product, a bundle — has to clear the same bar before it earns a place, and most of what we look at never does. A short shelf is not a lack of ambition; it is the standard doing its job.
Testing and documents
Our products are made and shipped by a US fulfilment partner operating FDA-registered, GMP-compliant facilities, and every batch we sell has a certificate of analysis from the manufacturer covering identity and purity. If you want to see the COA for the batch you received, email us and we will send it. We will also tell you where a product is made: our creatine and magnesium capsules and powders are manufactured in the USA, and our single-serve strips are manufactured in India.
We would rather print that plainly than let a US-flag logo imply something it does not mean.
What we will not claim
We do not say a supplement treats, prevents or cures anything, because it does not. We describe how ingredients support normal structure and function, which is both the legal boundary and the honest one.
We do not claim clinical review. Plenty of brands in this category lead with a practitioner's face; we are not going to imply oversight we have not arranged. If that ever changes, the person's name and credentials will appear on this page before the claim appears anywhere else.
We do not position anything we sell as an alternative to hormone therapy. That decision belongs to you and your own clinician, and any brand suggesting a powder can stand in for prescribed treatment is one to walk away from.
We do not make weight-loss claims, we do not use before-and-after photos to imply them, and we do not quote a study we have not read.
When we get it wrong
Evidence moves. If something we have published stops being supportable, we change the page and leave a note saying what changed, rather than quietly editing history. If you think a claim on this site is overreaching, tell us — contact us here — and we will either show you the study or take the sentence down.
